DCA Athletics

At Desert Christian Academy we offer a rewarding athletic program for students in grades 6–12 that develops the whole person—physically, mentally, and spiritually. We believe God has uniquely gifted each student, and our athletics program exists to cultivate those gifts through a variety of competitive teams. Students are trained to care for their bodies, improve physical skills, and grow in teamwork and character through the shared discipline of sport. Through practices and competition, students learn discipline, teamwork, leadership, time management, and sport-specific skills, all while pursuing excellence in a Christ-centered and competitive environment.

More than Conquerors

At our school, athletics are more than competition—they are a vital part of shaping students in character, discipline, and a strong sense of teamwork. As the Home of the Conquerors, our student-athletes pursue excellence both on and off the field, competing with integrity and reflecting the heart of Christ in how they play, lead, and serve. Not only do we excel on the field, but in the classroom as well—DCA’s Girls Varsity Volleyball team achieved the highest GPA in the 2024/2025 school year of all varsity volleyball teams in Riverside County. Our teams have earned the respect of local schools through consistent success—winning 65 league titles, 6 CIF championships, and a State Academic title—while maintaining a strong commitment to academic excellence. We field competitive teams in Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer, Baseball, Softball, and Cheer. Behind our success is a dedicated coaching staff focused on developing well-rounded students. Our coaches work intentionally to strengthen each athlete's skills, address their weaknesses, and support their growth—mentally, physically, and spiritually—preparing them not only for the next game, but for life beyond the field.
